Our story goes all the way back over 140 years.
Thomas Lane, a probate judge, was the founder of the First Adventist school in Poplar Bluff, Missouri in 1881.
From that school, the church began to meet and in both 1910 and 1912 the church members sought to spread the good news of Jesus throughout the area.
Since then, the church has had three locations, the third and final location was built by the church members from the ground up.
Our current location was built in 1981.
More than 200 people were in attendance on May 8th, 1982 for the newly completed Poplar Bluff Seventh-day Adventist Church For a combined youth rally and Pathfinder investiture.
